Yomite is free to use with every on-device voice for up to 20 minutes of listening a day (15 minutes plus 5 from the daily check-in). What does Premium add?

Premium is optional, with three options: ¥480 a month, ¥3,600 a year (with a 7-day free trial), or ¥9,800 lifetime (see the App Store for current pricing). Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled any time in Settings. Premium unlocks:

If “20 minutes a day is enough” and “occasional mispronunciations don’t bother me” describes you, the free tier is enough on its own. If you want to listen longer every day, register your own terms and character names from a web novel, or share your library between iPhone and Mac, Premium is where that value shows up.

If pricing changes, does a lifetime purchase keep its features?

Yomite’s Terms of Service spell out a grandfather guarantee that protects purchasers. The pricing or billing model may change in the future, but anyone who bought lifetime Premium before that change keeps everything that was included in Premium at the time of purchase, permanently. Any pricing or billing model change is also required to be announced at least 30 days in advance, on the website and in-app.

That guarantee protects ongoing access to the Premium tier itself. It’s worth noting separately that individual voices licensed from third parties could, in some circumstances, become unavailable later if the licensing terms change — the guarantee covers your access to Premium as a plan, not the permanent availability of any single licensed voice.

Changes to the free tier (up to 20 minutes of listening a day, the on-device voices, EPUB/Aozora Bunko/web article import, the reader features) or to pricing are announced in advance under the same terms.

Is there an Android version?

Yes. Yomite is on Google Play for Android, as well as iOS, iPadOS and macOS. The Android pricing differs from iOS: core voices are free and unlocking all voices is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Check the Google Play listing for the current price; the plans described above are for iOS.
