"My to-read pile keeps growing, but I never find a quiet hour to actually read." Yomite turns that pile into something you can finish with your ears.
Make every commute a reading session
Drop an EPUB into Yomite. Pick from 315+ Japanese character voices and it reads chapter by chapter, with bookmarks, speed control, and resume-from-anywhere — just like a real audiobook player.
Aozora Bunko classics in your library
Natsume Sōseki, Dazai Osamu, Akutagawa, Miyazawa Kenji. In the Library, tap + (Add a book) and use Recommended sites to open Aozora Bunko's ranking, new arrivals, or works index in the in-app browser. On a work's page, tap Add to library: the text is imported into your library and its furigana are used for the reading. Imported works are stored on your device, so they keep reading on flights or in the subway with no network.
Pick a voice for each book
阿井田 茂 for a quiet literary novel, まお for a light novel: choose the voice that fits each book. Giving each character its own voice ("Cast") is available as an experimental feature. Register name readings in the pronunciation dictionary so the names stay right across chapters.
Web-serial novels too
Paste a web-novel URL. The article extractor strips ads and comments, leaving only the story for Yomite to read.
